Wellness and Preventative Health Care
Medical care given to a healthy pet on a regular basis to make sure the pet is healthy and to prevent disease is termed Wellness care or Preventive care. Animals will naturally hide their sickness as long as possible because when their species was wild it was safer to do so. However often by the time your pet shows symptoms of being ill there is a limited amount veterinarians can do to help them as compared to what could have been done if the problem had been detected earlier.
